My name is Olivia Dunn and I play JV basketball for the DH Conley Vikings in Greenville, NC. Our Coach, William Knight, is truly an inspiration to me and my team. He is a mentor and role model, on and off the court.
My parents taught me to try new things, even when I have no clue how to do them. I've learned to take a deep breath, walk through the door and try my best. But, they also taught me that a team working together can accomplish big things. Please be a part of our team.
Coach Knight really needs a kidney. He goes through dialysis 6 days a week and never complains or even talks about it. He is grateful for every little thing. We want to find him a kidney and we need your help. Coach didn't ask us to do this but we are doing what we know is the right thing to do!

If you know anyone or any facility that is willing to help us with testing or whatever is needed to simply find coach a kidney, PLEASE let us know.

There are a couple of points on the website that do need to be changed; the first one is the statement about Vidant Medical Center doing the testing. I am not sure who contacted Kidney for Coach, but in speaking with the chief of transplant surgery who oversees our living donor program, that is not an accurate statement. Can you remove the line that says "Vidant Medical Center contacted us and will help us do the testing."
The other point that needs changing is the number provided for potential kidney donor's, the best number to call is 252-744-2620.
